F-862 meets the requirements of category C3 LOW s/UNE ISO 12944-2 certified by an external Laboratory (on Steel Sa 2 ¹⁄₂ and BESA-VAL Topcoat). Also classified as M-1 according to UNE 23727:1990.

The process F- 862 + BESA- VAL has been classifed by an external lab as B-s1,d0 according to UNE EN 13501- 1:2007 + A1:2010.
